How many times have you grabbed that special bottle of wine only to discover that the temperature isn't quite right?  Most of the time you will probably find the temperature is a little on the warm side.  Well, the perfect wine accessory for you is a portable bottle chiller, or often times referred to as a bottle cooler, wine cooler, wine chiller…well you get the idea. 

There are many styles of flexible ice chillers available.  The most popular types are the flexible jacket type and then the less form fitting ice bags as well.  My personal favorite is the Rapid Ice Cooler.  These portable coolers will chill a wine bottle in 5 minutes and keep it cool for up to a couple of hours without ice.  Just keep a couple of these in your freezer and then these flexible ice jackets can be pulled at any time and slipped over the wine bottle to quickly chill the wine.

Another wine chiller that is available is the Metrokane Rabbit Wine and Beverage Chillers.  This type is made of neoprene which traps the cold inside the fabric.  This type is made with elastic which will stretch to fit different sizes of bottles.  They can also be used on 2 liter beverage containers as well.

Two of the most advantageous times to use one of these coolers is on a picnic or if you are traveling to a friend or family location and want to keep the wine cool.  These coolers will make great inexpensive gifts as well.  Be sure to pick up a few to have on hand for yourself and also bring an extra one to that party you are attending; your host or hostess will love it!
